Completing our trio of films in Bradford was the slapstick Egyptian comedy Nabil El Gamil.
And I have to report it prompted a few laughs from Mrs W and me and even more from the only two others in the auditorium who probably understood the language gags.
Khaled Marei's film stars Mohamed Henedi as a plastic surgeon with an erratic reputation who sets up on his own after being fired from his previous job.
Nour plays his love interest who is caught between Nabil and her dad who owns a private hospital and wants to push him out of business.
Nabil also gets into bother, having to sort out the mashed-up face of a violent thug and causes anger among a mafia family after some rather unsuccessful work.
The laughs mainly came from the hilarious reactions of Nabil's sister (Rahma Ahmed Farag) to the constant crises.
There are also some pretty basic but funny visual gags around plastic surgery,.
However, I have to confess that I am writing this only four days after seeing it and I can't remember much else from the film and fear it will have disappeared from my memory altogether within a week.

Did you know? Egyptian cinema dates back to the 19th century - On 5 November 1896, the first short films of The Lumière brothers were shown in Alexandria, at the Stock Exchange of Tussun Pasha, less than one year after their Paris premiere, setting Egypt up as the pioneer of cinema in the region.
The final word. Nour: "He (Henedi) is an exceptional case in comedy, as he has had a special character and style in the comedy of his own since his inception. No one can ever become Henedy because he is in his own area and I was very happy to participate with him. " Daily News Egypt
